1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us:
- Account information (name, email, company)
- Usage data and analytics
- Communications you send to us
- Data you connect to our platform
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Communicate with you about your account
- Send product updates and announcements
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We regularly audit our security practices and maintain strict access controls.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who assist in operating our platform
- Legal authorities when required by law
- Business partners with your explicit consent
5. AI assistant connector (MCP)
Myriade offers a connector, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), that lets AI assistants such as Claude explore and query your databases and catalog through Myriade. This section describes what happens to data when you use it.
What the connector collects
- Sign-in details: you connect with your Myriade account. We receive your user ID, email address, organization and role, and issue access tokens that we store only in hashed form.
- Tool requests: what the assistant sends to Myriade's tools, such as questions, SQL queries, titles, catalog descriptions, notes and report content.
- Query results: each successful query is saved in your Myriade workspace with its SQL and up to 500 result rows, so it can be found and replayed later. At most 50 rows are returned to the assistant.
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, time and status of each request in our server logs, and the name and redirect address the assistant registers when it connects.
Myriade does not receive your conversations with the assistant, its memory or your files: only what the assistant sends to Myriade's tools. Database credentials never go through the assistant; you enter them in Myriade.
How we use it
We use this data to run the requests you make, enforce your access rights (read-only SQL, masked columns), keep your saved queries, catalog and reports, secure the service, diagnose errors and compute aggregate usage statistics.
Who processes it
When the assistant asks Myriade's analyst agent a question, the question and the relevant schema, catalog entries and query results are processed by the AI model provider used by your workspace; protected columns are masked or encrypted first. Hosting, logging and error-monitoring providers process technical data on our behalf. We do not sell this data or use it to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Access tokens expire after one hour and refresh tokens after 30 days. Saved queries, conversations, catalog changes and reports created through the connector are kept in your workspace like any other Myriade content, for as long as your account is active or until you or your administrator delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Disconnecting and deletion
You can stop access at any time by disconnecting Myriade in your assistant (in Claude: Settings → Connectors). When an administrator deactivates your seat, every token issued to you stops working immediately. On Myriade cloud, deleting your account or your organization deletes all the data associated with it, including what was created through the connector. For any other deletion request, contact [email protected].
If your organization self-hosts Myriade, this data stays on its own infrastructure and is processed by the AI provider it configured. Only aggregate usage statistics are sent to us, and they can be turned off.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing communications
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze usage patterns, and personalize content. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the service.
